The $3 Million Trust: 1960s Race Livery
The Challenge: A genuine 1960s Ferrari Race Team survivor.
One of the last of its kind. Value: Over $3,000,000.
The owner needed a livery that was historically accurate to the day it raced,
but applied with modern materials that would not harm the fragile, original single-stage paint.
The Execution
Period Correct Stripes:
I recreated the specific White Racing Stripes with Black Pinstripe Borders used by the privateer teams of the era.
The width was calculated to match the exact 1960s FIA regulations.
The "Meatball" Roundels:
I applied the iconic White Number Balls (Roundels) with block-letter Black Numbering.
Conservation Grade Vinyl:
The entire custom wrap livery acts as a protective shield. It looks exactly like period-correct paint,
but the premium vinyl graphics can be safely removed in ten years without leaving a trace.
We preserve the investment's history and avoid the damage caused by volume wrap shops.
The Modern Conversion: Silver to Stealth
The Concept: "Silver is safe.
Matte Black is a weapon."
The factory Silver was elegant, but it blended in. The owner wanted presence.
I executed a complete Matte Black vinyl wrap transformation.
By covering the gloss silver with a premium matte black car wrap film, we turned the car into a rolling shadow.
The body lines that were once soft are now sharp and defined by the way light absorbs into the matte texture.
It is aggressive, modern, and completely reversible.
The Exotic Wrap Promise: I do not disassemble Ferraris.
High-volume shops tear off bumpers, mirrors, and handles for a full color-change wrap
—a massive liability for a hand-built exotic.
I use Knifeless Tape technology and surgical vinyl wrap precision to tuck edges without removing a single panel,
ensuring your factory assembly torque specs remain completely untouched.
